The Los Gatos Creek trail has 2 large Gaps. One is in Willow Glen between Meridain Avenue and Lonus Avenue. The other is in downtown San Jose from San Carlos Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue at the Arena Green.

During the Jan 17,. 2026 Board Meeting, the board approved the creation of a sub-committee to work on closing the gaps of the Los Gatos Creek Trail. At the meeting, Larry Ames presented a slide deck of possible project options for 2 sub-committees.
